Storage & Handling
Cool, Dry Place: Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A pantry or cupboard is often suitable.
Brown Paper Bags: We provide bags for your bulk biltong but all of our products are best stored in breathable brown paper bags.
Refrigeration: If you’re not going to consume the biltong within 3-5 days, it’s a good idea to refrigerate or freeze it. This helps extend its shelf life, especially if you live in a humid climate.
Freezing: For long-term storage, you can freeze biltong. When ready to use, thaw it in the refrigerator to maintain its texture.
